The ScarTissue VERSA GI™ is a top of the line Gold Weave white or blue gi designed specifically for the Jiu Jitsu practitioner and MMA enthusiast. Made of 100% 550g cotton (which has a "rice-grain" look, also know as "Gold Weave") the top is durable yet light weight as are the rip stop pants. Although VERSA GI™ was designed with the more experienced practitioner in mind, ScarTissue highly recommends the gi for beginners because of its durability, comfort, fit - factors that will not only welcome beginners to the greatest sport on earth, but will save new practitioners time and money in the long run as they advance in the sport.HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR GI SIZE:
Any gold weave Gi will tend to be sized a little larger than "average" for typical jiu-jitsu cut uniforms PRIOR TO WASH, however they will fall into the same sizing as a pearl weave gi AFTER you wash it. If you already have a gi and know your size go with that size. For those of you not sure, this is your first gi, or you're between sizes or your body height & weight doesn't seem to fall inside the numbers listed, we recommend that if you're "tall & thin" go with height listed below (you don't want it too short), "not tall" or "not thin" go with weight listed below (you don't want it too small around your waist/stomach/chest).
